Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Tandem (the "service"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you don’t, don’t create an account.

The service

Tandem is an AI co-pilot that tailors CVs and tracks job applications. We provide the tooling — you decide whether to send any application. Tandem never submits a job application on your behalf.

Account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Tandem.
• One account per person. Don’t share credentials.
• You’re responsible for keeping your password and OAuth providers secure.
• Provide accurate information. Don’t impersonate someone else.

Subscription & billing

• Pro — €19 / month or €144 / year. Includes 15 tailored CVs per calendar month.
• Career — €39 / month or €288 / year. Includes 40 tailored CVs per calendar month.
• A "tailored CV" is one full rebuild of your CV for a job posting, or one regenerate-section call. Both spend the same monthly quota. Caps reset on the 1st of each month UTC.
• Billing is handled by Stripe. Card details never touch our servers.
• You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing → Open the Stripe portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for; no refunds for the unused portion of a month, except as required by law.
• 14-day refund window: if you write to contact@getandem.com within 14 days of your first paid charge, we will issue a full refund. No questions asked.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Tandem to misrepresent your experience or fabricate qualifications.
• Submit other people’s CVs or job postings without their consent.
• Use the service to harass, defame, or violate the rights of any third party.
• Reverse-engineer the AI prompts, scrape internal endpoints, or attempt to extract our model behaviour for competing products.
• Bulk-scrape job postings for resale or aggregation on behalf of third parties.
• Interfere with the service, attempt to bypass rate limits or paywalls, or upload malware.

Breach of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.

Your content

• Your CV, job postings, applications, and any content you upload remains yours. We claim no ownership.
• You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process your content solely to deliver the service to you (e.g., send it to our AI partner, render it as a PDF, save it in your tracker).
• The tailored output is yours to use freely — including for submitting to recruiters, sharing with mentors, or storing offline.
• We retain rights to the platform, the prompts, the design, and the codebase.

AI output

Tandem rewrites your existing experience to match a target posting. The AI is configured not to invent qualifications, but errors and hallucinations are possible. Always read the diff and the rationale before exporting and sending. You are responsible for what you submit to recruiters.

Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided as is. We make no warranty that Tandem will get you a job, an interview, or any specific outcome. Hiring decisions involve many factors outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you have paid Tandem in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded (gross negligence, wilful misconduct, etc.).

Termination

• You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone.
• We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. We will refund any unused paid period unless the breach justifies otherwise (fraud, abuse).
• Upon termination your data follows the deletion path described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to the service or terms

We may evolve the product. Material changes to these terms or to your plan’s pricing or caps will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules give you a different right (you may always bring proceedings in the country where you reside).
